This piece belongs to my "David" series, which explores strength, courage, and an unwavering belief in oneself. Early on, I felt determined to paint a powerful figure crowned with a halo. What emerged was this "perfect" physique—complete with a halo and eyes devoid of visible pupils, symbolizing "seeing without eyes": intuition, and a connection to one's higher self and elevated human consciousness.

He is the ancient Greek God of Olympus and the radiant one (Phoebus); God of music, song, and poetry, as well as the leader of the nine Muses.

I personally believe that the inspiration behind the art we create stems from a higher source. It's no coincidence that the ancient Greek gods of Olympus exist; Apollo, for instance, is the patron of music and poetry and leader of the Muses. While creating this work, I felt inspired by Apollo himself, as his name kept surfacing in my mind throughout the process.

With gratitude to that higher source of inspiration, this painting was born.

Important Note on Shipping Options:

• Rolled in a Tube (Canvas Only): The original painting is carefully removed from its wooden stretcher bars and shipped securely in a heavy-duty mailing tube. This option is highly cost-effective for worldwide shipping, as it completely avoids expensive freight forwarding fees. Upon arrival, you can easily take the canvas to a local frame shop in your area to have it re-stretched.
• Stretched on Frame (Ready to Hang): The artwork remains mounted on its wooden stretcher bars and is delivered as a large, fragile freight shipment. It arrives ready to be placed directly onto your wall. Please note that for large-format pieces shipped outside of Switzerland, significant international freight charges apply to this option.

The preparation time for shipping is typically up to 3 business days.

Delivery time depends on your location and the destination country.

We ship our artwork  carefully packaged and reliably protected, to ensure your painting arrives safely and undamaged.
