The first painting in my swan series marked a major turning point in my life. For the very first time, my worth was acknowledged.

For the very first time, I found myself in an environment where I could be myself—where I was accepted and, even more, respected for who I am.

It was much like the story of the Ugly Duckling, who finally gained his white plumage and was admired by others for it.
For me, however, this also meant not compromising who I was just to be liked, but rather acting authentically and standing by myself!

As of today, I have painted around 90 pictures of swans, so I have simply numbered them sequentially.
There are also a few paintings of water lilies among them; they are part of the "Swan Lake" theme.

I love swans and water lilies.
